I took a Doe in 2005 & 2006. I passed on many more. These were the 1st Does I have shot since 1980. I will be participating in a Bowhunt this year where you must take Does so am planning on 3 Does & 1 Buck. I just Bowhunt so am only allowed 1 Buck-been Buckless for 3 years BUT I have passed on many every year so my Bowhunting has been great.

I put 4 (hoping for 2 mature does and 2 8 point or better bucks).

Getting frustrated on bucks, in last 2 years I have passed 4 different 6-7 points and some forks. Hopefully my forebearance will finally pay some dividends this year. Also, will shoot 6 or better with my bow this year.

All it will take is one nice buck, especially with a bow, for me to consider it a successful season.

I checked 4......I usually kill between 3-5 per year depending on how my gun season goes.This also depends on the area that I'm hunting too. Some areas are far more populated than others and there I will try todo my part to keep the herd in check.I also like to donate at least one deer per year to the hunters for the hungry programs here in Illinois
