Even though you are correct in saying it's not a visually obvious as a 4" vane, it's still there. You can see it, and it's effective. The amount of helical is the same, it's just proportionate to the fletching size. A 4" feather doesn't have as much as a 5" feather, but it's still there.

I offset my Blazers on my ACC's using a Bitz. I don't have the helical clamp and have never had a need for one. The offset gives me perfect arrow flight/broadhead stabilization out of a well tuned bow and matched arrow.

I just got my Bitz with straight and put offset on arrows. Here's the end product. You can clearly see the offset on the bottom arrow.
