I have a general plan and idea that I try to stick to, but I am willing to be flexible and change that on short notice if needed.

I am a planner and an improviser. I like to plan 4-6 hunts per season, and ride the waves for the rest. Sometimes the planned hunts turn into successful scouting trips. An example would be when I get weathered out of a spot I wanted to go, and have to look over some new stuff. I've taken some of my better critters from improv. spot and stalk hunting.

Sometimes I get an opportunity to go with someone to a new location, usually their first time thier as well. Sounds like a good idea, so we just do it.

Usually keep to the same general area, with a little scoutn' in the off season. Look for new spots while scountn'. Each day out huntn, I pick where to go by time of day, wind, etc.

i sit for a while then after no action for a couple hours, i start walking and looking for new spots. its almost always successful im like invisible in the woods lol
