Robb92,

Is that what that hat is? LOL! The first picture I saw of him and the deer he had a Primetime hat on. What did the guy do...shoot an incredible deer then take a couple rolls of "pay me money" pictures with different hats?

Welcome to commercialized hunting folks. Get your air sickness bags at the door.

I work with the guy from Cabelas that arrowed a big one from Iowa that my manager also taped and then sold to be on Primetime 7 But this pic isn't the guy or buck. I've seen the rack a few times. Grossed 198 and net 176 I think, as a typical 10ptr. The rack is just so heavy it's unreal. I've even seen the footage a couple times. It's one heck of a deer. Not as big as my other buddies KS buck he arrowed but still a one-of-a kind for sure.

WOW,,,I mean DANM !!!!!
That's a HUGE BUCK.I don't think Mitch Rompola could have made a sweeter rack ;-).
Get a load of that bow.Has to be at least 10 years old.Cave tool, by todays standards.Just goes to show, it's the man and the skills, not the most expensive gear, that really counts.I think a HEALTHY DOSE of good luck comes in handy too.

KSHUnter, was that Troy B. that got the big buck on film? Seems he was always into the big ones. He is the guy that took my place at the PDC store before he went to KC.

I don't know what all that static was about and I don't want to be part of it...but cardeer is correct. Split brow tines are commonplace on large deer in my neck of the woods.

The pictures shown are two different ones than what I've seen elsewhere. I think I've seen a total of four, and now that you mention it, he was dressed differently everytime. I wouldn't assume that anything sinister was in place though. I own a lot of hats and choose among them according to mood, temperature, the outfit I have on, or if I just want to wow the teenyboppers at the local mall. Young chicks do like camo, right? lol.

Merry Christmas to all.

Just as a matter of interest and fun conversation...

Doesn't it seem that sometimes when an ordinary guy kills a true honest-to-Pete monster, that there's always a few in the hunting community that are skeptical about how he got it? I guess that the highly publicized controversies have bred a whole new wave of conspiracy theories.
