Too much land to hunt???

RE: Too much land to hunt???
Oh man.... That sounds like a dream. I grew up in Southern Utah on a small farm/ranch operation. The mountian ground consisted of 1000 acres. It was HEAVEN! Back in the day there were LOTS of deer. Two sad parts of that story. One, I didn't bow hunt until I was much older and didn't use my own land. Oops. The second part is that my brother bought it, I moved to Idaho, and that is the rest of the story. So 775 acres loaded with big bucks, turkeys.... You are a lucky man! Hunt 'em up!!!!

I have never seen a turkey with a 10.5" beard! Come to think of it, I haven't seen a 160" whitetail buck either!!! Be careful with stories like that, you could become my hero!! OOORAAAH!!

RE: Too much land to hunt???
hey davidmil, I would love to find some private parcel of land but you know as well as anyone in MD its like findin a needle in a hay stack so I hunt where the deer are which I guess makes me a patio hunter. So what if I sit inside some kids old tree house and wait for the neighbors dog to bark at 6:25 every Saturday mornin to let me know the deer are comin. We hunt where we can.
p.s. the tree house is 6 minutes from ellicott city
