Default Expandables in a Fuse Quiver?

I just got some Rage expandables (2 blade) and am having trouble getting them to go into my Fuse quiver. When I put the head in position at the top, the head wants to start opening up. Any ideas here? Thanks. Roskoe.

RickJames said that he uses rubber bands from rocket broadheads to keep the blades closed in the quiver...might want to check with him for more info...Matt?

It's not the quiver, it's the broadheads. That is what the rage broadheads are supposed to do when they meet resistance. Best you can do is try to woller the foam out enough that the head won't open but it will still hold it in place. I had the same problem.

hmmm...remove the foam?? my alpine soft loc came with 2 pieces of foam. 1 was like 1/4 inch thick for mechanicals. the other was full thickness for fixed heads. the thin piece for mechanicals allow you just to put the tip in...

dont know if that helps you at all....
