From the pics, though hard to tell, I would say no. On the right side the space between the G2 and G3 is greater on the one you killed than the one on the trail cam. Plus it looks like the space is greater between the G3 and the end of the main beam on the deer in the trail cam.

Based on the one in the photo hasa throat patch and the one you killed last year doesn't I'd say they are 2 different deer.

Also the shape of the g3 tines appear different to me. The one on the game cam seems to have more arch in the tines than the one you killed.

Does not appear to be the G2 in the 1st photo looks like it has a slight curve in it. The picture with you in itthe g2 is straight up.

I appreciate the looks, guys. I just can't tell, for certain, either.

About the throat patch.......the one I took in Dec. DOES have a VERY small patch....it's just not visible in the photo I posted. I had to go back through some other photos before I noticed it.

Here's another photo....showing the smallish patch.

Also.....the trail cam photo was taken on 7/20. Could antler growth (after that date) attribute to any of the "discrepancies" noted? It's not THAT important.....I realize.....it's simply for nostalgic reference.

ORIGINAL: early in

That sure looks like the same buck.
What he said, so based on in the information provided, I would say yes.
Nice buck by the way.
