RE: Do string leaches make any difference?
I like the leaches on my Matthews, and they do help quietit down.My last bow, an XI paragon would throw them off, so i tied them on with dental floss.

RE: Do string leaches make any difference?
So my best bet is to get them installed as close to the cam and idler wheel as possible??? Right now I have those Tru Ball Spider Speed Silencers and they dont do a thing in terms of speed gain OR vibration/noise reduction, and they cost me close to $20 for them. If I decide to get leaches, does it matter if its the super leaches or regular leaches or anything? Thanks

yes!! i think it was mobow!! talking about Fuse string shox....
i use the super leeches kdsberman. dont know the difference or anything...heck my bow came with them and i never took them off....so i dont know what they do...everyone else that tinkers around here likes them though...
i heard good things about this years Fuse string shox. i think ill try them when i get my new string..

RE: Do string leaches make any difference?
My old bow had them on it and it helped a lot....It was noticeably quieter but not noticeably slower....but I mean not many of us can tell the difference between say 278 and like 274 fps....

Yea, it was definately mobo that lost some fps when he took off his string leaches. My opinion is that I would rather have quietness over speed anyday.
