I would start eliminating any loans I had and then you can fund your retirement with all the extra money you have monthly.

Glad Im not ready for marrage yet. Mine when half towards buying a duplex and the other half I used to by my drenalin.
Retirement is a good ideal.

Anyone voting for the engagement ring justs wants you as miserable as the rest of us....LOL just kidding. I voted Tyrkon tho, it's the right choice and you need to train them early.

Well it sounds like she is an important lady, and in that case she should get her ring, but that is not to say that you can't forgoe a big wedding to get the bow of that year!
