never heard of him. I think the Whisker Biscuit is a great rest, but thats not because of what a writer said.

I too love my WB! For the style of hunting we do out west I don't believe there is another rest out there that can offer the convience and the reliability that a WB offers. I would recommend them to anyone. They may not be the "optimum" in rests and performance but they get the job done...very well.[8D]

Good for Norb! Not going to make me change to a WB though.

THIS could raise a few eyebrows with those that think the WB is not a good rest though
quote:

Today, nearly half of new bows sold are ultimately outfitted with a Whisker Biscuit.
My opinion......but "I" think this "fact" is due to3 things:

#1 - It's cheap
#2 - It's easy to set-up
#3 - It's a good rest

A lot deer fall every year to the WB, I guess they may just work for some people
I concur, again.

If I utilized a different arrow with a different "coating".....I'd still be using this rest. If I never got up-close and personal with my quarry.....I'd still be using it.

It doesn't surprise me ONE BIT that this is the most popular hunting rest in the world. It ALSO doesn't surprise me that its' flaws are recognized by many of the top hunters and shooters of the world. Both contingencies have credible arguments for or against this rest.

How would a drop away biscuit work? I would guess it drop the bottom half and raise the top half. You could put it in lock mode if you wanted, two rest in one

It would look like PacMan. They could call it PacMan Biscuit[8D]
