ORIGINAL: bow huntert

He said his arrows was about 27 inches long that waswhy I was thinking 11, by the way what is the weight of your arrow with broadhead.

My arrow weight is 420 grains.
Why would he need to shoot an 11gpi arrow?

I shoot a 27 inch arrow weighing 427 grains. My arrows are only 9.9 gpi.

What are you wanting to acheive, Coug? Speed? KE? A happy medium between the two? Are you planning on shooting your bow maxed out by season?

Im wanting to be in that happy medium area in between speed and KE. I dont want an arrow as heavy as yours though. Just curious what is your DL. I may need to shoot a 27.5, i was just guessing.

I've got a 27.5" draw. Shooting a 427 grain arrow at 71# I should be getting around 276 fps with 72.2lbs of KE.

I found my happy medium.
