I'm usually good for about 2 years before I get the itch and have to buy something new.

A good bow should probably last ten plus years if taken great care, even longer if the limbs remain in great shape!!!

Guess I'm cheap...I started with a Bear recurve in the late 60s...Bought a Bear Whitetail in the mid 70s, used it until the early 90s and then bought a Mountaineer, used....I'm still using that one...

Unfortunately for my checkbook, not long enough.

If these manufacturers would stop making it "better, faster, quieter...", I wouldnt "have" to buy a new one every 2-3 years! (Ha! Ha!)

I'm around every 8 years for a new one. I really like the one I got presently, I don't see me getting rid of it anytime soon. Its been used 3 seasons.

I hang onto mine for quite a few years. I have a feeling my 04 bowtech Liberty is going to fall into that catagory.

As for my most recent change, about 10-11 weeks. I bought and sold the Mathews Drenalin to buy the Bowtech Guardian.

Although the Drenalin was a good bow, I like the Guardian better.

I had used my old bow for 8 years...bought my Old Glory in July...and just sold it for my Commander...if I keep at this rate of time reduction, i'll need a new one next week!
