I'm with cougars09. I use the block. I already know the vital area on my quarry so I see no need for 3d. If there is somethingdifferent someone please tell me.

I just made a stab at a homemade target...I used an old UHAUL box and filled it with shredded paper and rags. Since we get alot of junk mail, I shred it and save it. The rags are just old clothes (I have 2 kids so somebodys always outgrowing this or tearing that on a fence). The face of the "target" I plan to cover with duct tape, when needed. I shot a couple arrows in it yesterday and it looks like it's gonna work. I guess when it gets shot up, I'll pick up another UHAUL box for a few bucks and dump the old fill in it. I like the UHAUL box because of it's size(28" tall X 18" X 18")...even I can hit that.

Like others stated , just get the yellow jacket , hands down the best bh target out there imo.

i like shooting at 3d animals also. really helps to not have dot to shoot at - more realistic for hunting. they're just soooooooo expensive.

I have several different styles of targets, from bags, to foam boxes, to some cooler boxes(blood coolers)I got at work, to a block. I like all of them, but the foam boxes and cooler boxes are BH only targets.

I don't even have a 3D target, because I think they are overpriced. I had one years ago, but destroyed it in less than a season.

Just prop the yj up on some saw horses wrap it somethin brown and stick some antlers in the top, there ya go , big fat square deer.
