I use the green parachute cord. It never tangles and it is a nice color so I just leave it hanging. I had a deer run right next to it and almost start pulling it with it once.

Best 24.99 I have ever spent!!! Bought mine season before last, it was 20' long then...perfect! when I felt tension from the bow weight it was time to tie in and hunt...lets out automatically as you climb and retracts automatically as you pull your bow up to the stand====no tangles!!!

Bo

I would also go this route only i would get the strap one rather then therope one...

I found the ultimate pull up rope. Tangle free decoy cord.

I use the decoy cord that Johnnydialtone mentioned.....I wouldn't be without this stuff. Extremely tough and doesn't tangle easily. I use it for hunting, camping, fishing, boating. Check out http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0020888225926a&type=product&cm Cat=search&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&QueryText=cord&N=4887&Ntk =Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Ntt= cord&noImage=0

Hoisting my bow, I have a clip tied on one end and clip it to the bow release loop and it pulls up easily.

Parachute cord. Strong as heck, and lasts forever. Easy to tie and un-tie as well.
