That'd be interesting to try but I'd wear a helmet with eye protection and thick leather top to bottom first. I wonder what that buck would've done if the guy got on his knees so he wouldn't be so intimidatingly towering over the buck. I heard if you appear shorter than them, they're less afraid of you.

We've called in bucks using antlers in Kansas and used the antlers on the head trick to pull them into bow range, but I can tell you this they are either going to figure you out, smell you and boltor kick your hind end. Deer are curious, but this one looks a little too accustomed to humans.

Not too awful bright. Guy here in Michigan raises deer. Got gored by one he had raised during the rut. The guy has VERY serious medical problems and will NEVER be normal again.
