Default will it work?

i was thinking about making a leaf like vest. if you cut up an old camo to and cut it in to strips about 4-6 inches long and sewn them by the tops on to a camo vest do you think it will work and look good? i asked this at archerytalk what do you think

It should help break up your outline for sure.

Just make sure you wear it while you're hunting, or it won't work at all.... Heck, it won't look good either!

I really don't think there's all that much to camo. Sure you can do it and it will work great.

The idea sounds good, thats sort of how you make a quilie suit. I personaly perfer a whole leafy suite myself. Anything with 3-D camo will break up your outline better than just plan old regular camo. Your out line is the key, hide it and they will never know your there.

It should work. Ive been thinkin of ways to put those fabric leaves on my camo jacket for when im archery hunting in the fall, but still be able to take them off whenever im hunting in the winter. Havent had any real good ideas on how to do that yet.

it should work ok, however I would give some consideration as to how it would react in the wind. If it blows differently than real leaves do it may give you away. Just another angle to look at it that is all.
