What's the earliest that you've seen a newborn fawn?

My brother, whom I know wouldn't lie about this, told me that on the way to my moms house Saturday he saw a fawn that couldn't have been more than 1 week old. I've nevfer heard of does giving birth this early have any of you?

I've never noticed any until late May or early June.
Its possible that a doe drops a fawn this early if she happened to go into estrous earlier than the rest of the herd. It is likely (depending on the weather in the area) that it wouldn't live very long.
