I was wondering which arrow weight i should go with. My choices are 380 and a 400gr arrow. THis is with a 28" draw and 65#. They specs are virtually the same, it says 280 on the 400 and 288 with the 380 with about the same KE. Is it a toss up pretty much?

20 grns will not make a noticable in any catagory for the most part. I would actually go with the arrow that has more FOC myself.
That's my opinion anyway.

He is right.FOC would be the deciding factor in that equation.
That would be simple,if both arrows are built the same,length and same weight head,the lighter arrow should have more foc.
straight from easton's tuning guide
foc= 100x(a-L/2)
L
L= Correct arrow length-distance from bottom of nock groove to end of shaft.
a = distance from bottom of nock groove to finished arrow balance position(includes weight of point[+insert],nock system and fletching)

I never understood how to calculate FOC, but following what you posted TFOX, my FOC seems to be 11.1.
Now, not to hijack the thread (sorry Coug), but is this good or bad? What is the optimum FOC one should strive to acheive?
