over all good , i wouldnt have the connections i have , more info even if it is local , more info on how to shoot, new products, i wouldnt know what slick tricks are

I think its great, and I would be lost without it. But, I am 50-50.
BUT, unfortunately, there are a lot of people on the internet that are not representative of the rest of us. Particularly the ones that give hunters a bad name and post and write things to support that.

I don't think that you can blame it on the internet it's the nature of the people that make it either bad or good. Some people just like to argue and they were that way long before the invention of the internet.

I've learned more in the past 6 months about bowhunting from the internet, more from this site than others. I do, however, find the "pissing" contests somewhat amusing. I guess the off season is the time for that. Keep the good advice coming and I'll do my best to to a search prior to asking a question.

I'd say it's good in that for someone like me.....I have learned a lot in a short time. I'll also say it's bad.....because I've been hunting all my life.....and I've never been in a hunting camp and seen REAL dissention amongst the ranks. When people are face to face.....the rhetoric is typically toned down (amongst MEN). The internet provides too easy an avenue for those who would take advantage of the anonymity.
