One of the trail cam pics I got of her. I'm having trouble with resizing.

I am proud of it.

I've never said I wasn't proud of this animal. I am.
And that's all that should matter. A hunter proud of his kill.

But once you go here it adds room for comment!
If you had a piebald in front of you....in the woods....what would you do?
I could not have shot it. I've seen 2 piebalds 1 was a 4pt the other a doe.

The doe was out of the question as I didn't have an anterless tagbut I would have shot the 4pt but it didn't offer a shot.

But neither were that young. I'm not judging you, or your decision but if I brought that fawn home to momma and the kids..it wouldn't go over well.

I know you're not, GR8.....and I thought about it too......UNTIL we ate the backstraps. Now my wife tells me before I go out the door that the young ones are tender! I'm not making light of shooting a "this year's deer". I'm saying it really didn't bother me then....and it doesn't now. I respect your decision, too.
