If you hang your stand correctly you shoudlnt have to worry about sun glare. PLease check with local archery hunting laws to make sure its legal to use a magnified device on your bow during hunting hours.

Thank you very much for your response to my question.I have not been on this site much over the last couple of weeks.I appreciate the information you provided and will do some research to see if the clarifier is some thing that would make sense for me.

i shoot a 3x lense on my bowhunting site. makes it easier to focus on a tiny spot, and I've gone as far as to use it as a pair of binoculars in a quick decision situation.

Last year I tried a lens for our ASA state championship and honestly I didn't like it a whole lot on a pins sight.
I do use a lens on my indoor, FITA, and field setup. Right now I have a Mag Sight 6x lens.

I too have trouble with fuzzy sights so last year I went to the hardware store and got some brass roundhead 8-32 stove bolts and ground the head down a little bit to make it rounder and painted the round part flurosent green. I have 3 pins and it seems to help as opposed to trying to find a little speck on the end of the pin.
Man it just sucks getting old.[&o]
