I like my summit cobra. Its packs fairly easy in and out of the woods. I would look at alot of stands and their weight and consider how far you will be packing it.

Okay so your buying a climber....

1) IF cost is not a major concern to you, buy a stand that is as LIGHT (packing weight) as possible. This should be your number 1 priority. Usually, the lighter stands cost a bit more. Trust me it matters....you'd much rather hump a 15 lb climber into the woods than a 25 lb stand.

2) for me personally, I like the stand-up/sit-down climbing option. That means that there is a bar across the front of the top portion of your climbing stand. I've never had it get in my way while hunting.
