RE: Basement shooting ranges
I get just over 16 yards, 50' basement length wise and I shoot corner to corner.

It sure beats -0 temps right now. Keeps the muscle memory and mental game. I'm waiting on our local GM to start the indoor 3D. When I travel to my friend Kurt's (Q2INWHITETAILS) we hit a pop 3D range.

I had a 30 yrd one in my basement but it didn't make sense. I live in NC where the weather is blue sky warm pretty much the whole year long. So I have a range off my deck including an eleveted shot 30' up.

I have 19 1/2 yards straight shot with a locked door to get in. Designed it into the house when built. Kindof like an underground hallway under the garage and laundry room.Perfect range. Only problem is that little window above and to the right of the target. Had my release slip last year and an arrow found its way 2 yards (houses)away buried in a neighbors shed. Steel plate covers that now and all is good.
Perfect range. I shoot every day in PA. Really helps when working on posture, release, equipment etc.
