Very nice sheds, if only I could get my dog (half chow and half boxer/rottweiler mix)to find my sheds for me... he is to dang lazy plus he is scared of deer. I had him for a walk through my property when a buck jumped up, I figured I better hold on for deer life but he backed up wimpering ![EEK!](https://www.huntingnet.com/forum/images/smilies/eek.gif)
That one shed sure has some character, he will be a true brute in a few years.

Great pix! Thanks for sharing them! My kids especially enjoy seeing photos of otherkids wholove to shed hunt! It's one of my kids' favorite things to do every late winter/early spring.
We found a shed just yesterday that was a first for me, it was actually wedged into a rub and just hanging there a couple feet off the ground! What's even better is that both sides from this SAME buck were picked up last year not 50 yards away. This buck is actually 4 1/2 years old, he just doesn't have much potential to 'em, heavy mass and long beams but not much for tine length. He'll be a good "management buck" for new season.

I just wish we had a shed dog to do some serious coverage for us as well. Someday, perhaps? I know in areas such as these, it's simply impossible to cover hundreds and hundreds of CRP waist high grasses!

I could not belive my eyes when i saw this thing. I could hear my buddy Ty yellin across the ridge. What a funky antler. Never in my mind would i have thought it to be from a 200" deer. The antler amazingly scores 96 6/8" ....what a freak!
