What a lesson
ok guys my Texas season ended with no deer
but I could only hunt the last week end of the season.
But my lesson came not from the lack of hunting but from target practice.
I have picks to post but dont know how to post them so if I can email them to some one who knows how to post.
Well here goes what I have learnt
NEVER aim your second arrow at the first cause this might happen to you too it cost me 24 dollars and 2 carbon arrows.
My friend who I practice with was having a few problem with his bow and could not get a good group so he asked me to have a go as i have been using the bow a little longer than he has.
So I picked up his bear bow (which by the way I dont like)knocked the first arrow drew back aimed and fired then I knocked the second arrow aimed at the first one and fired again. We both heard the arrow hit the target but could only see the second one I looked at him and said ok where did it go he looked back and said dont know then moved to his left and with a funny look of disbelive said BS all I could say was what then he said you better go down there and look we both walked down and there was the second arrow straight up the center of the first.
I was shooting from the 20 yrd mark.
Now I have 4 30 inch arrows and one 55 inch arrow with 2 sets of fletching.
Now what really gets me going is that I had only just got those 2 arrows back from being refletched.
I have since had a frame made up and the arrows are on proud display in my lounge room for every one to see.
I still cant believe that I made the shot and would lay odds of a million to 1 that I never do it again.
so if some one can put the pics on here for me let me know
Thanks
