ABM, nice fox! That is quite an feat.
My first year bowhunting I was so determined to get a deer I spend about an hour and a half in a treestand in -20 deg wx. I was very borderline on being able to pull that stiff bow back. In fact, I think I had a shot and couldn't get it back. Boy, those risers get cold.

You always have to show me up don't ya? A guy can't go out and shoot something without artic coming in here with something better!!
Just what are you going to do in vegas when the season doesn't last a year? Just curious. Atleast then some of us may stand a chance on keeping up with you!!
Congrats on the fox, he is a beauty. You could always just send me the pelt as a gift for Christmas.

OK, I'm jealous! I can't stalk up on a tree stump without it jumping up and running off! great job! I would like to see the mount when it's done too.

Thanks for the kind replies guys.
Cardeer, that doesn't sound like such a bad idea! I've been researching that field, and will be purchasing a broadcast quality camcorder in the very near future to start practicing for next years hunts. I figure we should start video taping them. I took a few guys out from the Outdoor Channel caribou hunting this year, and they filmed the entire hunt, us and themselves. It was pretty neat watching how the shows are filmed and put together, but I haven't seen the edited version yet, so I'm very interested to see how it comes out. I'll let everybody know when the show will air, it hopefully will be the first half of next year, and probably be on OLN.
IL_BOW, I'll still be commuting back and forth to Prudhoe from Vegas, so I'll be in my stomping grounds for half the year still. I'll probably miss moose hunting next year, but I'm headed out in Sept. with the film crew to hunt elk with them. I also am planning a spring hunt for either black bears again, or we might go after brownies. Hopefully I'll find something to do in Vegas though, as far as hunting goes. I really want to find a cougar hunt while I'm down there, I'm thinking Utah for that, tags are about half as much once you cross the state line, it'll be non-res anywhere I go but Alaska.
Thanks again guys, it'll probably be close to a year before I get the mount done. It might come out looking like a wrinkled up weasle, but the sentimental value will be there!
