Default shead hunting

Its abou that time of year again when I get to go see if I can find the sheads of the big ones that just dont come close enough when the weapon is in my hands. Does anyone have any tips for hunting sheads that I dont know about?

Take a kid. Those little buggers can spot stuff from a mile off, plus they love running around and they get so excited when they find one. It's better than an Eater egg hunt!

the best way i've found is to grid off an area, just zig zag back and forth about 3' apart. You'll find even the spikes...

Its tedious, but it works. Usually i dont have the patience for that so i'll just grab my gps and wonder the deer trails...

I wish they would start dropping around here im itchin to go. seen a small 1 1/2 old 6 point bouncing down the road in front of me this morning on the way home from work and seen two bucks in the field behind my house this evening still carrying racks, they looked to be 2 1/2 olds.

Man you could not have said that any better. My oldest son is now 15, started taking him when he was younger and he is now a shed magnet. My seven year old gets to go some this season, i cant wait.
