Gri22ly, you got that right, a friend of mine took me over to a guys house he worked with, and soon as we walked in the door my mouth fell open, The Buck on the wall had 22 scoreable points, and would score around 210. I asked if he had it scored, and enterd in B&C, he said no, why you get any money for it?

Union County has pretty decent trophy potential, several P&Y typicals have come from Union County. As far as monster bucks only two B&C typicals have come from this county andno non-typicals, but I'm sure there are some roaming around. Good ol'boys don't always pay their $25. I've seen 130 to 140 class on HH,but nothingREALLY big.
As for huntingpressure, not to bad earlyseason, due to seed tick infestation. After a good hard freeze, 2nd or 3rd week of Oct., itgets some heavy pressure on the weekends andevenings. When gun season kicks in, the 2nd weekend of Nov. and the rutis at full swing, you will be all alone at HH.
No way to get away from the pressure becouse the park has very good access.
People arevery good and down to earth.

Seed ticks are not theonly problem, you still have a few chigger larvae that really need a host.
Bring the good bug spray, the kind that is illegal now.[]

Thanks for all the info, guys.
Well, looking at the map, it looks like there are many fields that can be glassed in the summer from the roads. Looks like the only thing left to do is grab the GPS and head south to Kentucky to scout for some September hunting action.
