Here is a picture of my Browning Rage One with the eleven pointer i harvested with it. I purchased my bow last year after a 12 year hiatus from bowhunting.

Is it the best thing out there? No, but it gave me back the bug and i am glad for that.

Take your time and shoot some bows in your price range. Then decide which bow to buy, after all you will be the one shooting it, not us.

PS If after you shoot a bunch of bows you decide you still want a Rage drop me a PM
because I have a fully set up 06 i might sell for cheap. Im taking delivery of a Ross CR337 any day now. Oh yeah, i have gone to the dark side.

Great deer Beaverdamva!

It just goes to show you, you don't need a $1,000.00 bow to kill deer or even a great deer like above. Any bow out there from a reputable dealer will do the job. If you don't have the coin or just don't want to spend that kind of money on a bow then the Browning will do the job, so will other economically priced bows from other manufacturers. You don't have to buy their top of the line bow to kill deer.

If you have the money and WANT to spend it on a high line bow, you will not be dissapointed, but it won't kill deer any better than the others out there, that's all up to the shooter.

Good luck picking out a bow, try to shoot a few if you can but rest assured buying a bow from any of the manufacturers mentioned in this thread will work just fine.
