Default big doe

i shot one today. it weighed about 120 lbs or so. i got a lund shot or double lung. didnt pay to much attention. it was about 10:00am. shot up hill at about 22 yards. she at most ran 70 yards. and ran harder then any deer ive seen run. but i was wondering if this was right becuz i can not quite put the button on it, but there should be around 25- 30 lbs of meat rght?

Not sure on deer since I have never had a weight on them with the guts still in them, only an estimate. But on pigs and beef you will get about 55% of meat with no bones compared to live weight. If you have bones you will get more weight, but you get bones too. I would assume deer are the same.

i would have to say you will get about 20-30lbs of meat but 85LBS, that thing better have a bone disease and a thin hide if your gonna get the much meat out of it, i might get that much off of a 300lb live weight buck let alone a gutted doe that weighs 120.Uh no.
