I was just wondering if anybody has had any dealings with the PSE Firestorm Lite NH..It really caught my eye bc of the short axle to axle length....any feedback would be really helpful!!!

My honest opinion of it is that its junk. look how short the riser is!!!!! Compare it to the rest of the new bows from companies such as bowtech, hoyt, and mathews. They all have long risers with parallel limbs. Just not a bow I would want to shoot.

acutally, it is a awesome bow. short risers and more forgiving compared to the longer risers. you mentioned the other companies like bowtech, hoyt, and mathews, personally thats all advertisement. I shoot an AR34 and i would put it up against any bow mathews or hoyt makes. And be it that PSE and AR are the same company. The PSE firestorm is a good bow!

Actually the longer riser short ATA bows should be more forgiving than the ones with the short risers. They have more weight at the ends and hold better in your hand. And while PSE owns the AR series bows the AR bows and the Firestorm are no where near the same bows. They are a few classes apart from each other in design and quality.

That being said my best friend just got a Firestorm Light from cabela's this past summer and he is very happy with it. I thought it was a decent bow for the money. I would have rather seen him get a diamond, but he shot several including a few diamonds and this was the one he liked. You gotta go with what YOU like, not someone else and that is what I told him.
