Check out the Stealth Archery stabilizers. They have been getting rave reviews. http://www.stealtharchery.com

Many have said this is the best stabilizer for stabilization and vibration reduction.

I've been using the Sims S-Coil for the past couple years and really like it. In fact, I just put one on my new bow and picked up one for both my dad and my best friend.

At $13.99 a piece, you can't really beat that price, especially for how well they work at dampening sound.

If you're looking to both balance your bow and to dampen sound, check into Stealth. You'll pay a bit more, but they're also worth the money.

IMO, the S-coil is amazing. It works wonders. It amazes me that they haven't raised the price because they are the cheapest out there and they really do work.

Good question because how does one decide. I have a Stealth, it's nice but nothing special compared to many I've used. A stabilizer is a stabilizer in todays modern stabilizers, aren't they?

ps, flyfishpj, I love the signature. Amen!

You could probably get one off Ebay pretty cheap. I got mine from Sportsmans Warehouse here in Fairbanks, not sure if you have one where you are. They usually run right around $15
