that was my first year bowhunting elk. I packed in solo, and called in and was around more elk than you could imagine. I think the bow was a High Country Excalibur. I HATE face masks, and at that time there was a poduct called "camo dust" I think it was, like charcoal powder. I used it liberally Anyway, I'm a huge fan of the biggest, brightest feathers you can get, and I don't mind being a sissy with them at all.
that was my first archery elk too, hard hunt. I remember dried soup for like 4 days, and that night I fried Spam ......... GAWD! it was delicious ......
