The fawns only come at night now. They joined up with a big mature doe and her 2 fawns. The one was a button buck. Sometimes he comes by himself and sometimes with the other 4 deer.
The don't come at all during daylight now and for a while( During rifle season) they would not come until very late at night.

NoHillbilly, sounds like a plan. It's funny, before my neighbor got divorced, I used to see him sneaking his way across the field from the office. Pretty funny to watch.
Mauser, I think most guys know from my posts I'm from Cranberry. In fact one of my pictures from last year, you can see the Cranberry Exit sign on the turnpike in the background. On the other side of the pines, there is a 2 1/2 acre with house for sale. Right beside the pines, is a very nice apple orchard. All I need is an anti hunter to move in there and I am hosed.
gmmat, yeah when on stand, I watch deer and also watch the neighbors leave from work. It's a pretty cool setup, I can hunt in the am, and be back in the house at 7:50. time to see my daughter get off to school and get online for work by 8am.

This deer, DOG and I walked across a wide open school yard for about 150 yards. We moved when the deer had his head down. DOG is on a leash. I took this picture at about 80 yards. Another deer came busting out of the woods from myright and scared this little buck away. It's tough holding a dog still and keeping him calm while trying to take a picture. Everytime we stopped he'd sit though if I just gave him a sit or touched his butt.

I agree with those of you who said that you should just keep on watching him. Most likely he will be there when bow hunting season comes around next year. He might even grow some more. Good luck!
