Default Not a good sight!

One of my hunting spots is on forest service land. It is shared with the general public. They don't require removal of gut piles like some places but they prefer they not be left near hiking trails, bridal paths etc., well you get the picture. This is what was left 2ft. from a parking area. The cape, backstraps & hind quarter were taken and the rest left to rot right next to where Mr. & Mrs. non hunter park...... Not a good sight!

Good thinking, thats the last thing you want a family seeing. I cant believe people can lack the ethics to just shot an animal and leave it.Granted they did take some of the meat but a lot was wasted.

im glad you did something about it instead of harping about something you didnt do anythign about when you could have. Good for you. Its definately not a good site at all, it wouldnt have been much more effort to have done that back off in the woods somewhere

Is that gloves they left there also? Some people just have no common sence.Lifesadrag, glad you took the time to clean that up! Sure wouldn't of been pretty to have a family or nonhunter walk up on it.

Great job!

that is a shame that someone would leave that much of a deer lying around right next to the trail or not. Do they have the Venison for the Hungry in your area? THat is the least this person could have done and it would have looked a lot better than this.
