I took 2 deer this year that (I won't say 'required') ALLOWED me to take a follow-up shot. On both occasions....I was glad my quiver was attached to my bow. Beofre that time.....I'd switched back and forth between on and off. Now....I leave it on all the time.
I typically take ONE shot when I hunt (if I get that ONE shot). The weight is not an issue. It's not in the way, and I can get another arrow on the riser QUICKLY with it so handy.
It's just a personal preference.
