There's plenty of good ones. I use duravanes a lot and am pretty happy with them.

I've been shooting blazers this year. Though I'm still not sure if they're necessarily "better" than Feathers.

another vote for feathers! these guys must be on crack again or didnt read the post. the post is asking about the STURDIEST fletching...which would mean toughest. there aint NO way you can even compare blazers to feathers in durability! ive passed the same arrow through my bag target several times and it was 100% condition every time...the same thing sheered feathers off leaving just the base of the feather on my shaft. i passed blazers through 3" thick hard styrofoam too. same results..they were fine. granted with something that tough you give something up. that would be contact. them blazers bump anything youll know it. but in the end there isnt a contest about durability!

feathers on the other hand....they can practically smash into the riser and not effect flight. and my favorite choice for LOOKS are feathers...but i quit shooting them because i couldnt keep them together no matter what..flight started to get bad and they made noise flying through the air because they were so beat up.

Bohning vanes are an excellent choice. The Blazer or X vanes have performed well for me.

I will have to agree with Canuck1056.... I prefer the VaneTecVanes .

I get excellent flight using the 3 inchVanetec V-Max Vanes with a 100 grain 4 blade Muzzy . I have also shot my best ASA 3D Tournament scores using the VaneTec SS Vanes. I find the extremely stiff vane offers superior arrow sterage and the stiffness offers a durable vanes that holds up through arrow containment rest such as the Whisker Biscuit and Whisper Disk better than any vane I have seen so far.
I shot this buck this season using the 3 inch VaneTec Vanes
