Bad Breath
I have a question to ask all of you in this day of scent control technology. Do any of you do anything special with your breath when you go out into the woods, & if so what do you do or use? Is using a breath freshener a bad idea when your going out to hunt, is it better just to go out with morning breath? We do so much to control every other aspect of our scent, but have never heard any ideas for this.

RE: Bad Breath
if you are that worried about it, brush your teeth with baking powder (arm&hammer)
I tried that, but it makes me SO thirsty, I stopped - just use good 'ol Crest tootpaste with no problems

Brush your teeth as normal...
Then put 1 TABLESPOON of baking powder in your mouth some water & swish around until you can't stand it anymore. Spit & rinse lightly.
I also use a scent control hood.
Had 7 deer go downwind (oops) of me this Sunday & not a single one had a negative scent reaction. 1 saw me a stamped her feet to get me to move, but I satyed still & she kind of shrugged it off.

And when you're done with all that stuff and your mouth taste like doo doo.... EAT an APPLE.
OR.... you're far enough north that there should be lots of wintergreen berries around. If you can't find some berries on your way to the stand the leaves do just as well. Chew some berries and munch some leaves. As far as the deer Poop goes......... ahhhhhhhhh.... I'll pass.<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>
