Monster PA 10 pt drags locked buck 10 days.
Berwindaleboy PM'd me to call him and we chatted, (great talking to you), he sent me these photos. I'll let him tell more of the story but long story short, this healthy 10 pt was shot in Area 2B in PA, around Pittsburg. It was dragging the dead/hairless body of it's foe for 10 days.

Right you are my good man!!!! Those pictures were taken by WCO Beth Fife. (Very nice woman) According to her the deer was walking backwards when it was killed, leaving behind a 2 foot wide drag mark everywhere it went.

One of our local Gw told me they encountered this serval years ago in the WMA. it was a 10 and 12 point. The ten won the battle. They tranquilized the deer and cut his antlers to free him. The deer was pulling the dead one by backing up.

At least someone got to harvest one of them. It is really a shame when 2 monsters like thatget locked up and the coyotes are the only ones to benefit.
I have never seen the hair rubbed off like that on locked bucks, weird.
My friend mounted 2 locked bucks acouple of years ago. They were both full body mounts locked in battle. A very impressive piece and big too, over 12 ft long.
