Default Where can I find that book on tracking wounded deer?

I was reading a post a while back about a guy that couldn't find his deer and someone mentioned a book about tracking the deer you just shot. Something along those lines. Can someone give me the title on that again and where to find it. Thanks

Bobco's got the right book.

There may be other good ones too, but John Trout has lots of personal experience with having tracked over 450 shot deer, and has kept meticulous records of every kind of evidencethat can tell a hunter where his deer was hit, whatwounds produce what kind of blood trail.
It also compares and contrasts bullet wounds to arrow wounds.

Lots of good stuff on tracking, and other things too.
Barnes and Noble ordered it for me last year and I had it 3 days.
There is an older book by John too, but I've been told it's out of print.

That book was the best $15 I've ever spent on anything related to hunting, by a long shot.

You can get it off places like amazon and ebay like BOBCO posted or you should can get it at any of the larger sporting goods stores. Gander MT, Sportsmens Warehouse, ect. I am sure that many book stores would have it also. It is a great book just to read and share with others and have on hand.

Took the words right out of mouth I was about to say the same thing.
John Trout knows what he's talking about , one of the best books I ever read.
