Ok to make a long story short. I finally made it back from my tour in Italy, and ther first thing I did was to hit the woods. I gained access to prime hunting land in SE WI. Hasn't been hunted for years, and it's a bow only area (suburban Bucks). I got into my stand around 2:50 pm and around 4:10 pm I saw movement to my left. It was a doe and a yearling. Then I noticed a big bodied deer behind them. He stepped out into a small clearing about 150 yds. away. All I could tell was a multiple tined dark rack. Not a small one but a monster. I go to pull my grunt tube out and the darn reed fell out somewhere. So all I could do was watch. I guess I'm seeing the so called second rut. Which I have never seen before last night. Oh yeah forgot to say he walked right under a stand I put out the day before. You all know where I'll be tonight. I'll keep you all posted with pic hopefully.
