Why is your dad restricting himself just to a Matthews?
What about a Hoyt, Darton, Merlin, Bowtech, etc, etc?

Way too often people get trapped in advertising and dont pay any attention to shooting all the bows they can to find the right one...

I shot them side by side and I liked the Drenalin enough to order one. But that's just me. The Drenalin did have a little more handshock but it was lighter and faster. Tell him that he can't go wrong with either one.

ORIGINAL: Rick James

If the bow came apart it is because someone did something stupid to it. I have shot the bow extensively and taken it apart as well. I have also looked at the slow motion video of the bow and honestly it is one of the most sound limb pockets on the market right now.

Here is the video link........

http://forums.mathewsinc.com/viewtopic.php?t=47818

You should see what the limb pockets on other bows look like during shot execution. [8D] You would be amazed most stay together when looking at these types of slow mo video.
That says it all right there Rick and is why I buy Mathews. Anyone else want to post some slow motion vedio of their bow? ??????????

on subjects involving NOTHING to do with a Hoyt.
So I can only comment on Hoyt's because of my screen name? How idiotic is that statement? Maybe you should only comment on Turkey hunting then by your logic?

Motown....If you don't see through me....I was joking.

As a Mathews shooter......HOW MANY TIMES have you seen a thread start about a Mathews....only to have someone come in with COMPLETE conjecture and stir the pot? How many times did that person have a "hoyt" either in their screen name or sig line?

That's all I was saying in my original post....and if you can't tell I was joking RE: the turkey....you take yourself too seriously.

Have some fun. I apologize for doing so.

Jeff
