Fantastic animal Jeff and like I just said on the phone, he's bigger than I expected not that I didn't understand...lol
You've had an incredible year and some real trophies, that buck there, your piebald, your first buck ever, the doe for the family in need. That's a season to remember forever.
You've been able to do more in your second year than I did in my first 15. I think alot of that has to do with maturity (no age cracks here..lol), the love you have for the animal and ethics. My hat is off to you.
I had a great time when I was down and what was nice, reading that story I had the perfect picture in my mind. I can't wait til spring to come back and talk turkeys...

Outstanding story and that is a magnificent buck! Now about calling a dinger your first at bat in college?
This is muzzleloader weekend here and I can bowhunt. This story makes me want to go out even more this afternoon. I am not calling anything though...in fact I hope to take a doe but if a big buck comes by...........I do have a buck tag!
