RE: Got My Deer Back
SRBowman,
You are incorrect! The mount is a "Full Sneak" and I believe it is actually a "Full Sneak w/Head Up" by McKenzie. A semi-Sneak form has quite a bit more lift in the neck and head position. Not every form manufacturer labels their forms with the exact title.
RayHunter,
You have nothing to be ashamed of because you chose to mount your deer. It doesn't take a huge rack to make a nice mount. The guys that used to show up in my shop and ask "Who would mount a deer like that?", where normally the same guys I wanted out of the shop as fast as they could find the door. They were normally the same guys that said "make his neck as big as you can" or made it a point to try and let me know their expertise in hunting and what makes a good mount. It's easy to tell who is full of "you know what" because ever time they open that big hole under their nose itspews out.
