Greg I know the one your talking about now, it sold for like under 10 bucks! I used to shoot a 93# Jennings Elephant bow with the 2 Finger Stans, My Index finger got as big as a Ball Park hot Dog, It's still a little bigger than the other one! tsoc thats the same way I shoot the Thumb Release, using back tenchion, moveing the release into the Thumb.

I've never done it. I figure if I can't hunt that way, why practice that way?

You can shoot a caliper release with back tension. Use the hook and pull method. Back tension is the most accurate and consistant way to shoot.

You gotta be kidding![:-]

I was using my 2 finger stan and was practicing so much, that when I was shooting in the Milwaukee Sports Show tournament, my finger started opening up on me. I lost all power in that finger. Talk about a mind trip! I barely made it through. I did set a personal record though..... I shot a 300 30x, my lowest x count ever for a 300!! Using 2512s too! I was shooting 56 lbs. I went out the next day and bought a Carter. I shoot it withBT really well.

I hunt with a Winn Free Flight. How could I use back tension with this release? Just sort of squeeze with your back and finger at the same time? I'm not quite following you here.

Instead, I just use a similar technique to shooting a rifle. I let my pin hover on the dot and SLOWLY squeeze the trigger until the bow fires. I have a suprise release this way.

You can't shoot a freeflight with BT. What you are doing is the next best thing. I hunt with a freeflight. First release I ever bought. I was shooting 80-82 lbs. The freeflight works great for heavy bows. I do have a caliper but I haven't started shooting it yet to decide if I should switch,

Greg you probably could not do that again on purpose, the 300, 30x with 2512s
