Quiver: On or Off the bow?

RE: Quiver: On or Off the bow?
I take the quiver off when I get in my stand. I just don't want it to get in the way if I have to make an awkward shot. I don't clear out alot of the limbs around my stand for added seclusion and I'm always afraid that an arrow might snag on one of these small branches and make unwanted noise. JMO.

I used to take my quiver off when i got in the stand, but now i shoot a two piece bowtech quiver so i practice and hunt with it on the bow and have had not problems with it.

I take my quiver off when I am on stand.I practice with it off.Having a level in your site should remedy any canting.
I just read an article in one of the archery magazines (Bow and Arrow Hunting) I think. The author said there was no practical difference in point of impact out to 40 yards.
As others have said though as it relates to consistency you want to practice the same way you intend to shoot while you are hunting.

I used to keep my quiver in my backpack and didn't even have the mount on my bow for it. After this year though, I've opted to start keeping a mount on my bow to lock on my quiver after I get out of the stand. If i'm in stand though, the quiver is off.
