Default RE: drawing em in

Another little secret to ground blind hunting is always stay in a shadow and have the sun at your back for a good setup.
If at all possible(and important) is keep the wind in your face as well.

When a deer starts approaching your ground blind make sure he is occupied, looking in another direction, head behind a tree etc before coming to full draw. This way the likelyhood of getting busted when drawing your bow will be nill, assuming you are quiet in the process.

Hopefully you get your tree stand for christmas.A good ladder stand will be a great start as they are easy to move to different locations and will get you at least 15 feet off the ground. This will get you out of the deers eye sight as long as you keep your movement to a minimum.A good climber is also great but probably a little more expensive.

When grunting dont get carried away, usually 2-3 soft grunts will get his attention. Most grunting will be blind, meaning you dont see the deer, you are just trying to tell a buck in your area there is an intruder in his territory and he will come in to investigate his competition.
Try rattling during the pre-rut and rut.Any buck will also come in to investigate what in his area and if he dosnt feel threatened he might want to get in a little action as well

Good luck on the hunting and remember, just have fun, thats what its all about. As mentioned already, you are seeing the deer already so you have half the battle beat already.Just play the wind, sun at your back, stay as motionless as possible and scent free as possible and you will get him.
Good luck
