Hell, that's cheap, have you priced a top of the line longbow lately?
No doubt, we are one of the biggest traditional dealers in NY and some of those wapiti's and zippers are $$$$. Heck, the Mathews recurve we have is like $1000.

ok stp bran bashing. EVERY company of the big three have excellent bows which will all kill animals and are all innovative fast and quiet. i just bought a hoyt vetrix fo 689 from my hoyt dealer which is less than everyones 700 dollar 06 trykon so no price upcharges here. onl way to pik a bow is to shoot blindfolded and tell by the way the bow feels. if you ca see the bow you will probably be bias because of the brand. I think ey all have great bows, but i have no mathews dealer, dont like the bowtech deaer, so i went with hoyt. hopefully im not disapointed.
