Kinda looks photo shopped to me, that eagle looks huge in the pic. Not saying it is not real, just looks a little off to me.

I saw that posted here a while back, neat pic if it is real. Great timing by the shooter.

SR77... bald eagles are HUGE. They have wingspans of 7-8 feet. Think of your normal house with 7'6" ceilings. An eagle could touch a wing tip on your ceiling and on your floor at the same time. They ARE BIG. Magnificient bird with penetrating eyes, wicked tallons and a ripping beak. They're absolutely gorgeous.

That's a very cool picture. Is that a Golden Eagle or a young Bald Eagle though? I know the Goldens are bigger than the Bald ones are.

We have about four nesting Eagles were I live, when the Ice fishers are out fishing and put there fish outside the icehouse there is a bald eagle that hops up to the house and willgrab a fish and fly about 100 yrds off and eat it.Ive had the same pair doing this for a couple of yrs.last year our neigbor down the road lost there cat to a bald eagle.they were sitting looking out the window and it swooped down and snatched the cat right in front of them, they ran out of the house but it was to late.
I think the brown eagle is the biggest but Iam not sure. They(bald eagles)will fly the lakeshore and look for food. Its perty cool.

Yea, I posted that pic a while back. It's an imature Golden Eagle, and a fox. Proportions are correct.
