On an old abandoned road in about a 100 yard span i saw 4 or 5 scrapes which all looked relatively fresh. One even head lines drawn through it which was from antlers or paws. all of these scrapes also had licking branches. my question is are these worth hunting or just a waste of time.

well i dont think he would be putting his antlers in his scrape.... but if they are indeed scrapes it seems to be a hot spot.... and would be worth hunting. There is a buck in the area but you wont know if he is hitting them at night or daytime, until you hunt it.

Pretty much what everyone said. If it appears to be a travel route I would definetly consider setting up. However here in Minnesota they are chasing so scrapes aren't as hot as they were a couple of weeks ago to sit on.
